A Little Time...
It's strange how this writing comes about, the throwing together of pictures, emotions, and words which create a story which hopefully you relate to, by the time things are all said and done. I wish I could tell you that I sit for extended periods and ponder which direction I'm going to lead you on but the truth is I simply sit and begin to write whatever pops into my head.
A few weeks ago, my drone decided to set its own course and I lost connection with the device as it flew above trees in a wooded area of Sonora, CA before it basically crashed and burned. Well, to be completely transparent, there was no fire (rolls eyes). The idea of a piece of equipment having so much value is one which I attempt to stray away from due to societies price tag on everything. The greatest enjoyment I received from flying my drone was it provided me a little bubble of time.
All that we do is wrapped up in time but how many of us are disconnected from the controller in order to seek our own flight plans, without crashing and burning of course?
This year is going to be one for the ages, for me, and all I'm asking for is a little bit of patience and a little bit of time along my journey.
"In her mind she knew it was our last embrace
The last time that I would feel her face so close to mine
She kissed me as though the sun were setting
I hadn't a clue it was us that had started to fade..."
