Riding A Bike...

I'm at a crossroads of sorts, not an actual intersection but a cross in my road. If I go left, I'll be heading towards boredom, if I go right I'll be heading towards creativity, and if I stay comfortable, I'll go nowhere. Currently, I feel as though I'm nowhere, stuck but not by force, just willful sluggishness
This past weekend I found myself at an event with a few hundered people scattered around. The old me used to relish the spotlight, the conversations, and energy; the established me, understands the importance of acting as though I've walked into hundereds of rooms, without blinking an eye
People are drawn to me and have been since I was a child, this isn't a "Nemi Flex" as much as it is a gift from God. In my mind I'm more Mr. Incognito than Mr. Flame to moths but the reality is there is calling which I don't understand but I'm trying to be obedient to
In the darkeness I sit because it's within the darkness I was born so long ago, my thoughts, my spirit, my being. What I'm saying doesn't make me a dark person, alas, it keeps me grounded
It's like riding a bike, almost... In order to move forward, you need to churn your legs, in order to move forward in writing, I need to move my mind and fall back on the fact that I've been here before
